How does your fitting work with Amy?

Prior to your appointment you will be asked to fill out a form with all of you and your horses information. Upon arrival at your yard, Amy will start off by completing a drawing on your horse, this allows you to see exactly what we're working with, and gives a clear indication of where your saddle should sit before she even sees your saddle. Along with your horses unique mapping she will also give a detailed expatiation along the way of why its important to stay within your horses saddle support area, and effects that can be caused if we are outside of this.

She will have a good look over your horse and then, with yourself will complete a check of your saddle and then a thorough check of the static fit to your horse and a look at how your saddle fits you as a rider. You will then do a lunged and ridden assessment, having a look at your saddle in motion, providing this suits your horses ability / education.

Amy is not employed/ or linked with any specific company. She is an independent fitter who's aim is to give impartial information that you can trust and there by use this information to change your current saddle to suit (flocking, tree adjustment, pads etc) or search for a saddle you know is correct!

Amy carry's a small selection of second hand saddles to her fittings which are available for trial. If she doesn't have any suitable she is happy to work with you to search for something that is suitable.

She is able to order in new saddles from a small selection of suppliers also if you'd prefer
